Perdue and Crayola are bringing fun to the table in a national contest encouraging families to enter an original picture of how they bring fun to the dinner table for a chance to win a family cruise, a year’s supply of PERDUE^® chicken and Crayola^® products. With the busy back-to-school season right around the corner, Perdue and Crayola are celebrating the importance of taking the time for family meals.

Take a digital photo, color a freehand picture or enter your creation by using Crayola^® Lights, Camera, Color^TM; an online program that allows you to upload a digital photo and turn into a coloring page. A free access code for the Crayola^® Lights, Camera, Color^TM program can be found on packages of PERDUE^® Frozen Fully Cooked or Refrigerated Breaded Nuggets. No purchase necessary. Must be 13 or older to enter. Kids, ask your parents' permission.

All entries must demonstrate how your family brings fun to the table. Once approved, your entry will be posted to the Contest Gallery. Entries will be accepted until September 30, 2010.

Limit five submissions per household. Pictures you submit must be suitable for a general audience and should not be obscene or contain sexually explicit or violent images, or show any activity that violates the law, or any other type of inappropriate material. You are not allowed to show any other brand name, logo, company name, trademark, service mark, copyrighted material, or material that is in any way proprietary except that of the PERDUE^® chicken products. So cover up any product logos to avoid potential disqualification. Other people can be in your pictures only if you have their signed consent to show them in the picture, and you may not allow any minor to appear in your picture unless you have the written consent of his or her parent. Only one prize will be awarded regardless of how many people are in the picture.

Voting begins on October 17th. Encourage your family and friends to vote on your entry daily through October 17, 2010. The 20 pictures with the most votes will be deemed finalists. The Grand Prize, First Prize and Second Prize winners will be chosen by Perdue’s judging panel. The judges will be looking for creativity, originality and the extent to which the artwork shows a fun, family meal.

Winners will be announced on November 30th and will be featured on our Winners page.

• Grand Prize: One Grand Prize of a cruise package valued up to $5,000 will be awarded. The cruise package includes round-trip airfare for the Grand Prize winner and up to three guests.
• First Prize: One First Prize winner will be awarded one year’s supply of PERDUE^® Frozen Fully Cooked Chicken products.
• Second Prize: Eight Second Prize winners will receive a prize pack of assorted Crayola^® products and one free package of PERDUE^® Frozen Fully Cooked Chicken.
